Not having attribute of changing with time is timeless is Witness with Pure Potential known as Chitta hence Chitta is eternal and beyond attributes of SPACE-TIME-ENERGY-MATTER-INFORMATION since all of these five are mutable and transitory. (Any vibration requires minimum attributes of speed, frequency, amplitude, wave-length, time and hence is not illusory nor Chitta.)

(नासतो विद्यते भावो नाभावो विद्यते सत: |

उभयोरपि दृष्टोऽन्तस्त्वनयोस्तत्त्वदर्शिभि: ||2.16||

Translation: (2.16) The invisible [who's reflection can only be experienced by pure, clear, stable mind directed inwards] Spirit [Sat, Chitta, Witness and Seer of seeing] is eternal, and the visible physical world [Maya is illusory but manifestation of Maya and Consciousness giving rise to Physical world] is transitory [Physical world is not illusory since that which is an illusion cannot be measured]. The validity of these two facts is indeed certainly realized by the seers of truth)

भूमिरापोऽनलो वायु: खं मनो बुद्धिरेव च |

अहङ्कार इतीयं मे भिन्ना प्रकृतिरष्टधा ||7.4||

Manas, ahankar, buddhi [light-ElectroMagneticWaves: scientific fact that information-neural_activation and energy-pulse_energy is stored and transfered to/from Brain using Electrical wave-potential from/to nerve and muscular system ], vacuum-space-ether, air, fire, water, and earth are the eightfold transformation (or division) of My material energy (Prakriti). (7.04) The material energy is My lower Nature (Prakriti). [Maya is illusory but Physical material world- which is manifestation of Maya and Chitta - is changing and transitory but not illusory]

अपरेयमितस्त्वन्यां प्रकृतिं विद्धि मे पराम् |

जीवभूतां महाबाहो ययेदं धार्यते जगत् ||7.5||

Know My other higher Nature (Paraa-shakti, Cetna, Chitta, the Spirit, Consciousness, Awareness) by which this entire universe is sustained [life giving], O Arjun. (7.05)

[Chitta is eternal and invisible and earth, water, fire, air, vacuum-space-ether, light cannot destroy Chitta]

TIME ultimate equalizer

श्रीभगवानुवाच |

कालोऽस्मि लोकक्षयकृत्प्रवृद्धो

लोकान्समाहर्तुमिह प्रवृत्त: |

ऋतेऽपि त्वां न भविष्यन्ति सर्वे

येऽवस्थिता: प्रत्यनीकेषु योधा: ||32||

Translation:

The Blessed Lord said: Time I am, destroyer of the worlds, and I have come to engage all people. With the exception of you

[The Blessed 5], all the soldiers here on both sides will be slain.

दिवि सूर्यसहस्रस्य भवेद्युगपदुत्थिता |

यदि भा: सदृशी सा स्याद्भासस्तस्य महात्मन: ||12||

Translation:

If hundreds of thousands of suns rose up at once into the sky, they might resemble the effulgence of the Supreme Person in that universal form.

20th Century Experience:

As he witnessed the first detonation

of a nuclear weapon on July 16, 1945,

the above piece of Hindu scripture ran

through the mind of Dr. Robert Oppenheimer,

physicist and “the father of the atomic bomb”.

"The world would not be 

the same (after that).

Few people Laughed.

Searching in the Dark:

Einstein on Discovery, Doubt, and Understanding

Albert Einstein is often remembered

as the archetypal genius: the scientist who seemed to see truths hidden from everyone else. Yet Einstein himself repeatedly emphasized that scientific discovery is rarely a straightforward march from ignorance to knowledge. Instead, it is a deeply human process filled

with uncertainty, intuition, frustration, and perseverance.

Reflecting on his long struggle to develop the

General Theory of Relativity, Einstein offered one of the most revealing

descriptions of the creative process ever written:

“The final results appear almost simple;

any intelligent undergraduate

can understand them without much trouble.

But the years of searching in the

dark for a truth that one feels,

but cannot express; the intense effort

and the alternations of

confidence and misgiving,

until one breaks through to

clarity and understanding,

are only known to him who has himself

experienced them.”

This remark was made during his

1933 George A. Gibson Lecture at the

University of Glasgow, later published as

The Origins of the General Theory of Relativity.

The quote is powerful because it demolishes a

common myth about science.

backward, great discoveries

often seem inevitable. Once the

equations are written down

and the theory is taught in textbooks,

the final result can appear almost obvious.

Einstein reminds us that this retrospective

clarity is deceptive. The path to understanding

is rarely clear while it is being walked.

His words also reveal the importance

of intuition ( - GUT-FEELING) in scientific work.

Before a theory can be formally expressed,

a researcher often has only a vague sense

that something is true. The destination is

felt before it is fully articulated.

The challenge then becomes translating

that intuition into a coherent

and testable framework. This period of uncertainty

can last years, accompanied by alternating

waves of confidence and doubt.

The experience Einstein describes

is not limited to science.

Mathematicians, philosophers, artists,

engineers, and writers frequently

report similar journeys. A solution may exist

just beyond reach, sensed but not yet grasped.

Progress often involves long periods

where little appears to happen externally,

even though understanding is slowly

taking shape beneath the surface.

The quote also speaks to a broader truth

about human knowledge. Many of the most significant

advances in history emerged not from certainty

but from the willingness to

persist through uncertainty. Discovery

requires the courage to continue searching

when the outcome is unknown.

The final breakthrough may appear simple,

but the years of searching that made it possible

are visible only to those who undertook the journey themselves.
